I have written a review of Sony Ericsson’s newest Android phone, the Xperia X10 Mini. Although only equipped with Android 1.6 and a small screen, this phone is a joy to use.
If you are looking for a small and stylish Android (or any type for that matter) phone, this is the one! And I bet your girlfriend will want one too.

Hi everybody, I’ve a niggle..
. Yahoo and google roadmaps keeps starting up on it is very own in background and getting loads of battery with it. For instance, yesterday I took it off charge and it was sat idle with all the screen blanked for about 4 hours. When I flicked it on I was amazed to find out that the battery was only 50% total which can be lousy even to the x10! When I looked at what was working, I found Moxier mail (no surprises there) and Yahoo Maps.
Sony Ericssons customizations to this phone includes som programs that you cannot get rid of unfortunately. However, it sounds like there’s something wrong with your battery. Unless you are using the phone almost constantly, you should have from minimum 1 day to a more normal 2-4 days of battery time. Be aware however that it might take a couple of cycles of using/charging the battery before it reaches its full capacity.
