Review of LG Optimus 7 - Windows Phone 7

I have written a review of LG Optimus 7 (E900). This is the first Windows Phone 7 on review. Windows Phone 7 turns out to be a surprisingly good mobile operating system. WP7 is easy to use and has excellent response in the menus. Because of the minimum hardware requirements, all WP7 phones are well equipped with technology. Unfortunately, Marketplace is not available in Norway yet, and not being able to download any applications to your Windows Phone is a major drawback. Windows Phone 7 also has some other minor flaws, like lack of copy/paste.

LG has done a good joob with Optimus 7, and provide you with som extra software perks as DNLA. Not so good are the physical buttons and some background noise during a call. All in all, I am sure Windows Phone 7 will get a fair share of supporters. Fortunately it’s nothing like Windows Mobile (6.5).

Review of LG GD880 Mini (No chocolate)

I have written a review of LG’s GD880 Mini. This is a nice looking LG without the Chocolate name. Although it’s not as extreme as BL40, I wouldn’t say it justifies the “Mini” name. However, it’s still a very elegant phone both in looks, screen and menus. Also, it’s also a bit cumbersome and has flaws in some areas.

Review of LG BL40 New Chocolate

As the busy bee I am, I have written a review of LG BL40 New Chocolate in the Black Label series for Amobil.no.

In short, this is a very elegant phone. Pros are design, display and eye-candy menus. Cons are responsiveness, non-logical menu choices and camera. Read the full review here (in Norwegian): http://www.amobil.no/artikler/lg_bl40_new_chocolate/74049
